For a particular audienceSep 08, 2009
By K. Ring I have no qualms with the quality of the information in this text. However, it is important to note that it is not written like traditional textbooks for college. One really must read the entire chapter in order to be able to pick out what the author has deemed most important (he repeats several ideas). It could be a little frustrating at times to read this book as an academic text because some of the chapters are written more clearly than others. In other words, some ideas are presented well and others are a bit cloudy.

Great reference book for Sport Psych enthusiasts.Mar 25, 2008
By Steve Earl This book has been great reference for writing several articles and citing it for different projects. I am glad that Dr. Murphy includes great things like application and real life stories that show how these theories can come to life.
